Books for PoemsSaturday 28th and Sunday 29th March 10.30am-4.30pm
On this weekend workshop we will start by decorating papers to use in creating a book for a favourite poem or piece of writing – maybe your own. Different methods of constructing books will be demonstrated so that you can select the one most appropriate for your project, whether a one-off or designing a multiple. Suggestions and equipment for ways of handling text will be offered, including use of computer and printer, hand-lettering tools and simple printing techniques. Student numbers are limited to six, assuring plenty of individual attention – hence early booking recommended.
Cost: £85 – this includes a high quality range of handmade and decorative papers and trimmings- and refreshments including cake!
